1769-OW16 ALLEN BRADLEY Relay Module

1769-OW16 is a digital output module of the CompactLogix series under Rockwell Automation. It is an extended I/O component of the 1769 series PLC and has 16 relay output channels. It supports 24VDC or 120/240VAC load voltage, with an output current of 2A/point (resistive load), and can directly drive industrial equipment such as solenoid valves and contactors. This module adopts a compact design, supports DIN rail installation, is compatible with the 1769 series backplane bus, and can exchange real-time data with the controller through Ethernet/IP or serial communication. It also has overload, short circuit, and over temperature protection functions, ensuring stable operation in a wide temperature environment of -20 ℃ to 60 ℃. Its modular structure supports hot swappable maintenance, and combined with Rockwell Studio 5000 software, it can achieve fast configuration and fault diagnosis. Cable and Installation: I/O devices require their own power supply (except when connected to a MicroLogix 1500 base). 22 to 14 AWG solid cables or 22 to 16 AWG twisted connection cables can be used, with a rated power supply distance of 8 modules. The power supplies compatible with this module include 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, and 1769-B4, and can only be installed using panels or DIN rails.
Module size and weight: The approximate size is 4.65 x 2.07 x 3.43 inches. When using a 138mm mounting plate, the height increases to 5.43 inches and the weight is approximately 2 pounds.
